Advanture on Sabine River

Right after the school was ended, we took a trip on Sabine River. We put down at the ramp on U.S. Highway 59. However, the ramp was covered with mud and our Mitsubishi Highlander got stuck. Initially, a Vietnam War Veteran came to help. Unfortunately, his truck got stuck as well while trying to pull out our vehicle. Then a young man came to help and broke his tie-down. When we were looking at each other, surprisingly a man showed up offering two chains for assistance. Finally, we got out of the mud and the boys started to cruise on the river. After about one hour, they decided to take a break on the river. When it's time to continue the journey, the 1958 Evinrude boat motor quit working. The boys ended up rowing by hand for the last 3 miles of the 18-mile river trip. Right before it got dark, they landed on the ramp on U.S. Highway 79. Perhaps, the one who got excited most was Robin. In conclusion, we need a new motor.
