The New Neighbor

Yanli is our new neighbor. He and his family moved to our next door in March 2009. The family is originally from China. They are nice, friendly, and hard working. We are blessed having them as our neighbor.

No Rush for Food

Growing up in Taiwan, we were told never approaching a dog when it is eating something. It implies that all dogs are mean. However, we try to teach Robin his table manner since his first day joining the family. It seems the discipline is still working. In deed, we are proud of him, at least the way he waits for food.

A Weekend of April

On Saturday, April 4, The University of Texas at Austin hosted the annual Forty Acres Fest. The activities include all day performances by university student organizations. The pictures were taken in front of the Tower, which features a broad view of the Austin downtown area and the state capitol. The next day, there is a spring exhibition football game at the Texas stadium. It is one of the rare days where the stadium is open to the public. (Pictures taken with camera phone)
