Spring Is Here

It is spring in east Texas. The azalea and peach in our yard are blooming. Nacogdoches is known for not only the Oldest Town in Texas, but its beautiful Azalea Garden on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University.

The location of our house can be found on Google Earth.

Check Water Level

On the Saturday of Spring Break we went on Angelina River for canoeing. It was a 5-mile trip between the put down at FM 3228 and the pick up at Poe, the abandoned railway. The water level was much above normal that made it a pleasant trip.

If you would like to go, check the water level.

A Big Day of White Bass

Szu-Chun came home for spring break. We went down to the river together. It turned out to be a big day for white bass. We even broke several hooks and strings. It is time to upgrade our gears for bigger fish.
